is sushi a healthy choice when trying to lose weight?
i dont mean real sushi from expensive restaurants, i mean like shrimp and crab and veggie rolls from stores (i shop at whole foods) with rice, avacado, and cucumber.
is this a balanced meal? with carbs protien and fats? is it going to inhibit weight lose? or is it a good choice for a meal?
It really depends on the sushi. You’re getting rolls so I’m more inclined to think that the sushi you’re thinking of is bad for weight loss. If it doesn’t have extra sauce, it might be ok. People have this perception of sushi that it’s a really healthy food, which it is, but people also for some reason have this idea that sushi is just rolls. So, they think sushi rolls are healthy. It really depends on the roll, but most of the rolls that Americans typically order are smothered in sauce and thus usually not healthy (unless it’s something light like ponzu sauce). So unless the rolls you’re getting are sauceless, they’re probably bad for weightloss.
